People arrive one of two ways: someone you already trust passed along your Cofelt ID, or a mutual connection you both accepted opened a path. Either way, a request can only begin with a real path, and it can only complete when the other person says yes.
How the network works

Your network in Cofelt is built from real connections, not from follows or subscribers. Every person in it is someone who said yes.
- Paths you can trace
- Every request starts with a path: a Cofelt ID shared with you, a mutual connection you both trust, or a code you chose to give. You always know how a person reached you.
- Two yeses, not one
- A request waits until the other person accepts. No connection forms without consent on both sides. A decline or no reply leaves everything closed.
- Sync, not follow
- The people you sync with are your people in Cofelt. No follower counts. No public standings. No feed to perform for.
- Context stays private
- Pattern context is not a public score or rank. When two connected people look at a With reading together, the context is shared between them privately, never broadcast.
- Home gathers your network
- Home brings your people, conversations, and incoming requests into one place. Nothing broadcasts to the whole network. What happens in your network stays in your network.
- Read together with a trusted connection
- Once you sync with someone, you can open a With reading together. Context from both charts shows how the two patterns compare, privately.
