Sparks are a small in-app currency you can use to unlock specific features one at a time, without committing to a monthly subscription.
You buy them in packs. The math is simple:
- Starter Pack: $5 for 50 Sparks
- Power Pack: $10 for 120 Sparks
- Cosmic Pack: $20 for 300 Sparks
Sparks never expire. They sit in your account waiting until you use them. They stack across purchases: buy a Starter today, buy a Cosmic two months from now, your balance is 350.
You use Sparks for things like sending a connection request (5 Sparks), seeing full compatibility with a connection (10 Sparks), or sending a message in Ask (1 Spark per message). The cost is always shown on the button before you spend.
Sparks let you pay for specific features without a subscription. You don't have to decide upfront whether you want a $9/month subscription. You can try a few features, see what you actually use, and then if you find yourself buying Spark Packs every few weeks, the subscription becomes obvious.
