Open the person’s profile and choose Block, then confirm. Blocking applies to that account.
When you block someone:
- They are removed from your connections (if you were connected)
- They cannot send you DMs or new connection requests
- They cannot access your member profile
- Their member profile is hidden from you too
- Your existing DM thread becomes inaccessible to both of you
- They are not notified that you blocked them; they just stop being able to interact with you
Blocking is unlimited and free on every tier. Safety is never a paywall.
If someone is doing something that violates Cofelt's community standards (harassment, threats, grooming, scam attempts), please also report them. Reporting helps us protect others, not just you. Reports are reviewed by a human.
If someone you blocked creates a new account to get around the block, that's a violation we take seriously. Report the new account. Include the new Cofelt ID in your report so the activity can be investigated.
You can unblock from settings → Blocked users. If you unblock, the previous connection is NOT automatically restored.
