A retained Free Account starts after the included month of the one-time payment, or after a normally cancelled monthly membership reaches its paid end date. Creating a login alone does not activate it.
Without an active monthly plan, you keep:
- Your profile, chart, connections and message history
- Up to 3 connection requests and 3 new DM conversations per UTC day
- Existing conversations with accepted connections
- Purchased Sparks for Ask at 1 Spark per answer, subject to daily limits
- The ability to buy Sparks or upgrade when purchases are available
- Data export, privacy controls, blocking and reporting
The daily included Ask allowance ends with the paid period. Purchased Sparks are separate and do not expire when a subscription ends.
Refunding the payment that established access is different from cancelling renewal. If no qualifying access remains, membership features may close while separately purchased Sparks stay saved. See the refund guide for that case.
Purchase availability: New purchases are briefly paused. The pricing page shows the current catalog, not an available checkout. Existing balances and billing controls remain available; the app shows which actions you can use.
