Birth date is immutable once you've completed onboarding. We don't allow editing it from settings.
The reason: your birth date anchors the calculation used for your pattern and future Ask or With context. Routine changes would make that context unstable and could be abused to present a different identity.
If you genuinely entered the wrong date during onboarding (typo, wrong year, etc.), contact Cofelt support through the Help center to ask what correction options are available. Do not send a driver's licence, passport, birth certificate, or other identity document. Support will provide an approved secure path if one is available, and a correction cannot be promised before that review.
Birth time is editable up to 3 times from settings → Birth data. After the third edit, time locks too. The limit leaves room to check family records or correct an estimate while preventing repeated changes that would continually alter the calculation.
Each time you change birth time, Cofelt recalculates the pattern. Your saved account history remains, while future readings use the updated calculation.
Birth place is editable freely so you can correct city-level details.
