Phone verification is intended to make bulk fake accounts harder to create, but the SMS delivery service is not yet configured. That means phone verification is not presently available.
Do not rely on a phone number as a recovery method or as user two-factor authentication. Password recovery currently uses the verified account email, and the public account does not offer SMS recovery or user 2FA. If you lose access to that email, contact Cofelt support through the Help center for the recovery options available to your account.
Your phone number is never shown to other members, used as a Network filter, or sold. We will update this article before phone verification becomes a working account gate.
