Start with a name, a short introduction, your intent and the languages you use. School, college, work, interests and current city are optional. Choose the audience for each supported field: public, connections or only you.
Optional shared details can help recommendations only when both people opt in and share those details publicly. Private About fields, religion, cultural community and inferred ancestry are not used by the current recommendation ranker.
Keep anything you do not want to share empty or private. Your birth chart and discovery settings have separate roles; more About information does not change chart calculations.
